"I found Renhill through the local school district websites when I was looking for jobs within the field of education. I am married and have a little boy who will be 4 in January. My dream has always been to become a teacher, especially with regards to the elementary grades. I have officially worked for Renhill for over a year, and I have loved working for Fostoria, and Findlay. I started out as an aide, because I had not earned my bachelor's degree when I was hired. My favorite long-term placement was at Wilson Vance elementary in Findlay, and I love doing anything I can between Fostoria and Findlay. I have loved working for both Findlay and Fostoria, and plan to continue, as being a substitute, and having the experience as an aide, has really helped me to strengthen my resume to become a licensed teacher in Ohio, and has really been very helpful in helping me see all the aspects of teaching, and develop the love for working with children, teaching them, and helping them learn and be the best students that they can be. Honestly, being an aide and becoming a substitute teacher, is one of the best ways to get fresh and raw experiences in the field of education, and even though it is not the same as having your own classroom, the experience is what matters, because we learn and grow every day. Stretch for every opportunity possible and gain as much classroom experience as you can. Believe me, it has helped me so much with providing educator experience and helping me realize why I want to teach and help students. It really is worth it, believe me on that".
